In this fun and dynamic class, you’ll explore:

• The basics of hula hooping and The HoopFit® Workout

• Techniques for waist, hips, and off-body hooping

Come dressed in comfortable clothes — yoga attire is perfect!
Bring your own hoop, or purchase one from Yoga Body Elements before the event.

Since 2014, the Chicago Hula Hoop Festival has shared the joy of hooping across the city and beyond — using hula hoops as tools to strengthen, grow, and empower communities through movement, creativity, and play.

 About Danny G. Felix

Danny G. Felix embodies the spirit of joy and passion through his exceptional talents as a pianist, trumpeter, composer, and producer. His sound spans genres — from Jazz and Latin to R&B, Kompa/Ghetto-Zouk, and Jazztronica.

Known as a luminary in the Sydney music scene for over a decade, Danny founded three iconic live residencies: The Monday Jam, Jazz HipHop Freestyle Sessions, and Wednesdays Jazz at Kalyx.

Now thriving in Chicago’s vibrant jazz community, Danny leads the popular Monday Jam sessions at Le Piano and collaborates internationally. His performances with Gregory Porter, Aloe Blacc, Sampa the Great, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Mayito Rivera, and Ngaiire reflect his artistry and creative vision.

For Danny, music is a mission — to spread joy through the universal language of sound.

 About Bradleigh Calvin

Bradleigh Calvin, born in Chicago and now based in Las Vegas, infuses soul and jazz into everything he sings — from folk and R&B to alternative and electronic.

A multi-instrumentalist whose voice is his primary instrument, Bradleigh also expresses himself through guitar and piano. Inspired since childhood by films, books, and video games, he continues to explore storytelling through music that moves and connects.

Currently recording jazz and genre-fluid original music, Bradleigh aims to deliver his storytelling to the world — sparking the same childlike wonder and fascination that first inspired him to create.
